i Vigna / Upholstery
Upholstery and restoration, in Milan since 1960.
Behind the shop is the part of the craft you do not see in the window: the upholsterer's bench. It is why we can match a bed to the room that holds it instead of merely delivering it.
What we do
Re-covering
Sofas, armchairs, chairs, benches and headboards. In a fabric chosen from our sample books, or one you bring yourself.
Bespoke headboards and bases
Upholstered, buttoned, plain, with contrast edges. Built to your room's measurements, not a catalogue's.
Fabric wall panelling
Tensioned fabric walls for private residences, historic buildings, museums and public spaces.
Conservative restoration
Period upholstery and antique textiles: conserved where conservation is possible, remade as it was where it is not.
